FATHER'S DAY
June 15th is Father's Day! As we approach that special day where we honor dads, grandfathers, uncles, and other father figures, let us remember, too, our Heavenly Father, who watches over us and guides us daily. Not only do we hope you get to celebrate the special fathers in your lives, but we hope you join us for that Sunday for worship as we celebrate together.
WORSHIP IN THE PARK
In past years, our congregation has enjoyed the first or the second Sunday in June outdoors. This has meant that we meet at the VA park (across from the dog park) and enjoy breakfast items, sing old-time hymns on the guitar and enjoy our time together using fold up chairs. This year, we are adding to the fun by celebrating Pentecost on the same Sunday. So, not only are you invited to come out on June 8 at 10 a.m. for some breakfast, bringing your own coffee and fold-out seat, but you are also invited to wear your brightest and most fun red to celebrate God’s Spirit blessing the first church and beginning what we continue to do even today - be church.
