What is Angel Food Ministries?
Angel Food is a ministry that provides grocery relief and financial support in communities all across the USA by making grocery items available for purchase at designated host sites once a month.

How does it work?
Each month, you have an opportunity to buy a box of Angel Food groceries for $30 (which includes all applicable taxes). The items will vary from month to month, but it is typically enough food to feed a family of 4 for one week or a single senior citizen for one month. Average retail value of the box is approximately $60-$70. When you purchase at least one main box, you will also be able to purchase any special/bonus boxes available during that month.

So we get a discount on dented cans and day-old bread?
ABSOLUTELY NOT! All of the grocery items are the same quality you would get at a grocery store. No damaged or outdated items, no over-ripe produce, no dented cans with missing labels!

How do I qualify to take part in the Angel Food program?
This is one of the best things about Angel Food; there are NO qualifications and NO income guidelines in order to participate! Every household that uses groceries (and that's all of them, right?) CAN and SHOULD participate in Angel Food.

OK, I'm sold! How do I get my Angel Food?
It's easy! Each month there are designated dates to order Angel Food. You place your order by coming to First Presbyterian Church during designated times on those order dates. CLICK HERE FOR THE NEW 2009 YEARLY ORDER/DISTRIBUTION DATES!!!

You must pay for your order when you place it. Payment can be made with cash, a money order or EBT/Vision food stamps. Personal checks are NOT accepted.

You will be given a receipt for your order, which you must bring with you in order to pick up your food on distribution day.

There will be a 2-hour time frame on distribution day for you to collect your order. You must bring a large box (some people use laundry baskets) so that church volunteers can assemble your order.
